“You look so… so… light!”
That was the compliment given to me by a client after I returned from the Nourish Yourself Retreat. It was true, I felt a lightness in my body and mind. I felt happy.
Nothing outside had changed in fact I had a few extra curveballs thrown at my life after the retreat but I was able to handle it with grace and care because I had that inner feeling of balance and of being at peace. That is what shone out of my face as light.

Now we cannot all go on a retreat every weekend where we are guided in mindful meditation, have delicious meals provided and encouraged to take the time to reflect and relax - so that we can achieve this "lightness". We need to be able to bring the tools from those retreats into our daily life and bring ourselves back into balance every day. That takes commitment and support.
However, many of my clients come to me looking for a:
silver bullet - but there is no one way for everyone, you must make it your own and make it work for you
quick fix - unfortunately in this age of instant access, this is not possible as any change requires time. You can create a neuron pathway in 7 seconds but for it to change your life, it needs to become a habit and that take time.
easy to do - yes, it can be simple, but it is not easy because this is about transformation of your core beliefs.
My wish for my clients is that they are at peace every day in balance with who they are, what they do, and why they're doing it.
Live your life at peace, not in pieces.
Three ways that you can be access that peace and light are:
De-clutter your mind with meditation
Detox your body with your breath
Remove distractions and focus to conserve your energy
Being mindful to do this - that is the driver required to be light. That is the awareness.
This way you don't just get through the day but you live that day with more energy bringing your best into your life and being fully present with those that you love.
