Imagine a weekend to yourself where you don't have to cook the delicious organic meals, where you can soak up the atmosphere of the Australian bush and listen to the bellbirds, where you can practice yoga with experts twice a day (and have a massage as well!), where you can talk and share with like-minded women who understand and support you.
At the Balanced Babe Retreat, you can reconnect with yourself and learn how to make the best choices for yourself moving forward so that you are more calm, confident and balanced as a woman and a mother.
Self-care is not selfish nor is it self-indulgent. Self-care is self-sustaining as women who take care of themselves are in a better position to make the right choices to take care of those they love as a woman and a mother. They have the energy, the vitality and the capacity to be the best version of themselves. Rediscover that woman here on the Balanced Babe Retreat.

What other mums have said:
"The Balanced Babes Retreat is the best thing I could have done for myself as a woman and a mum. The weekend encompassed the perfect blend of relaxation (through yoga, meditation and an amazing massage) and productivity (through sessions, one-to-one coaching and group conversations). As a working mum to a young baby, I find myself constantly on autopilot and then complaining about not getting things done. However, through the Balanced Babes Retreat, I was given the tools and insight I need to be able to process my thinking styles and better prepare myself for the challenges of day-to-day life. - Fi Morrison
"The Balanced Babes Retreat – it was worth every minute and it’s good to find out why being balanced is different from having balance. Though I have done a fair amount of my own research into the science of wellbeing, positive psychology and completed various strength profiles, I gained a lot from Shannon - further understanding of my thinking patterns, easy to do and maintain tools and techniques to embed the practices into my everyday life and the support and camaraderie of a group of women (we had some thought provoking conversations!)." – Sha-mayne C.
"I attended a Balanced Babes Retreat ...and came away refreshed and rejuvenated. Shannon provided me with insight into my thinking styles and gave me the tools to become more ‘’balanced’’. Instead of constantly blaming my busy lifestyle for making me feel anxious and overwhelmed, I left knowing that I had the power to take control of the busy lifestyle I lead as a working mother by using a range of mindfulness processes. I felt slightly indulgent when I booked the Retreat but discovered that it was truly the best thing I could do for me and my family – they too are reaping the benefits." - Amanda C
"The Care Factor and this beautiful lady Shannon Young was who ran the retreat I went to. Seriously this is the best thing I've ever done... Most self-discovering weekend that I know" - Lani
